This show was born in March 2020 in response to the sudden end of the first confinement. Being forced to initiate this creation in their apartment, the artists Ilia Gilbertas and Etienne Bernardot take as their starting point the box as a choreographic partner and projection surface.
Through this show, the artists address the theme of physical, moral and institutional confinement with a particular interest in the consequences on individuals and our societies. C3ll bears witness to the paradoxes we have gone through and its current consequences: the feeling of protection in confinement, the acceptance of increasing surveillance, physical and mental isolation and on the other hand the need for freedom, get closer and share.
